I'm Daniel Rickenmann, and it has been my honor to serve as the Mayor of our great city.

From the son of a single mom to the mayor of Columbia, Daniel's story is a testament to faith and the American Dream. Raised in Spartanburg by a single, bilingual mother after losing his father at a young age, Daniel understands adversity and determination. 

Daniel Rickenmann's story in Columbia, South Carolina began upon moving here in 1988.

A thriving Columbia depends on a clear road map to move the area forward in meaningful ways.
